Todd has been writing and playing music since he was a wee lad. Instruments played include guitar, bass, drums, coronet, cello, cardboard boxes, stray cats and gelatin. Todd holds an MFA in writing from the University of Southern California, and a BA in English/Humanities from Ohio Wesleyan University. Perhaps someday he'll get tattoos of each school's mascot. Perhaps not. Todd and his brother, Scott (bass and vocals in 8 Minute Morning), grew up in Delaware, Ohio; best known as the birthplace of 19th U.S. President Rutherford B. Hayes, and as the location of the Little Brown Jug horse race. However, their taste in music reflects neither of these notable facets. Though the brothers grew up creating music together, 8 Minute Morning marks the first time they've played together in a band.
